Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MOT: the MOT app (iPhone, Android), the website n0tmot.com and the Windows desktop app (together, "the Service"). The Service is operated by Mohammad Otaqi, an individual developer based in Amman, Jordan ("MOT", "we", "us").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are below the age of digital consent in your country, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for what happens under it. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may have more than one account (the app lets you switch between them), but you may not use extra accounts to get around a suspension or ban, to manipulate rankings, matches, votes or rewards, or to harass anyone.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten or impersonate other people.
• Post illegal, harmful, sexual or hateful content, or anything that exploits or endangers children.
• Spam, phish, or distribute malware.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or abuse quests, referrals, rewarded ads or other rewards (for example by automating them).
• Scrape the Service, or run bots except through our bot platform and within its rules.
• Try to access accounts, servers or data you are not allowed to, or interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service for anything illegal.

Our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards apply as part of these terms.

4. Your Content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute it inside the Service so we can run MOT. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users have already shared or that we must keep by law.

You are responsible for what you post and must have the right to post it. You can report content and users in the app; we review reports and may remove content, restrict features or close accounts that break these terms.

Copyright: if you believe something on MOT infringes your copyright or other rights, email n0tmot.co@gmail.com with a link to the content, the work concerned and your contact details. We will review it, remove infringing content and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. MOT Pro and Purchases

• MOT Pro features are available through paid subscriptions.
• Web and desktop payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow their rules, including for cancellation and refunds.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (n0tmot.com/refund).
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a new price applies from your next renewal.

6. MOT Coins and Virtual Items

MOT Coins and items such as cosmetics and boosts are a licence to use a virtual feature inside MOT only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be sold or transferred outside the Service (gifting inside MOT, where offered, is allowed). Purchased coins are not refundable except where our Refund Policy or the law requires it.

We may correct balances or items obtained through a bug, an error or abuse of rewards. Coins and virtual items are lost if you delete your account or if it is terminated for breaking these terms.

7. Advertisements

Users without MOT Pro may see ads. By using the free tier you agree to the display of ads. MOT Pro removes ads.

8. AI Features

The AI Coach and the in-app support assistant write answers automatically using a third-party AI model (see section 4 of our Privacy Policy). Answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so don't rely on them for anything important, and don't share passwords or other private information with them. To report an inappropriate or harmful answer, email n0tmot.co@gmail.com.

9. Games, Trademarks and Third-Party Services

Game names, logos and other trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the games. MOT is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Riot Games, Valve, Microsoft, Sony, Epic Games or any other publisher. Linking a third-party account such as Steam is optional and is also subject to that service's own terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, or remove content, if you break these terms or to protect other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time in Settings or at n0tmot.com/delete-account. Subscriptions bought through Apple or Google are managed in those stores; cancel them there as well.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that you will find teammates or matches.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOT is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the conduct of other users, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Amman, Jordan. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top. For significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
